Multi-Bar Damascus — Open
Blade Forward — Open
A liner-lock folder made without restraint. The blade is multi-bar Damascus; the bolsters are mosaic Damascus, their pattern blooming like a struck compass rose.
The scales pair antique tortoiseshell with textured gold-lip mother-of-pearl over gold leaf, split by a seam of pearl — and the titanium back strap is inlaid to match, in pearl and gold. Anodized titanium liners, gold screws, and a thumb stud set with a single opal. Inside the frame, the maker’s hand: 10–24–00.

W.D. Pease
Ewing, Kentucky · Knives since 1969
For ten years, W.D. Pease held two callings: the pulpit and the workbench. He joined the Knifemakers Guild in 1976 and went full time in 1978, trading the ministry for folders exclusively — which, depending on who you ask, may have been another form of devotion.
Based in Ewing, Kentucky, he is drawn almost entirely to folders — not because fixed blades are beneath him, but because folders are harder: more demanding of fit, of geometry, of the space where the blade meets the handle. Roughly 100 knives a year, and a one-year waiting list carried for decades.
“I like adding something unique to each of my knives.”
