Whippersnapper
Satin Wharncliffe
A pocket-sized front-flipper from Olamic’s mid-tech bench — a satin wharncliffe riding on a caged-bearing pivot, snapped open by a front flipper tab rather than a thumb stud.
The frame is titanium, sculpted in low relief and anodized a deep blue, with matching blue accent hardware and a warm bronze pivot. Titanium frame lock with a steel lockbar insert. As an Olamic, it is a one-off — built as an individual variation on the Whippersnapper platform, never duplicated.

Olamic Cutlery
Visalia, California · Mid-Tech Titanium Folders
Olamic Cutlery is a family shop in Visalia, California, founded in 2010 by Eugene Solomonik — a transatlantic start, with his father forging fixed blades in Russia while Eugene built the folder line in California with early help from custom maker Michael Vagnino.
They work in the “mid-tech” middle ground: small-run knives finished to custom standard, without the custom wait. Their signature is titanium — sculpting and the anodized finishes (the heat-and-acid “Entropic” among them) they’ve become known for. The name itself, the founder says, means “something that lasts through eternity” — hence the infinity mark.
The Whippersnapper, drawn by Andrey Kolesnikov and launched in 2019, is their compact front-flipper — a four-finger companion to the smaller Busker.
